Harry Potter WIP by angelhitomi Harry Potter WIP by angelhitomi
Well, I had wanted to finish this before the movie came out, but as you can see, that did not happen. I have beeen working on this on and off for the past month whenever I have time. College takes up all my time, so it is hard to find the energy to work on this. As you can tell, I still have a lot to do.

This is also my first time using a grid to do a portrait. I needed a grid so I could do his glasses ^^' So far 20+ hours has gone into this and I inagine about 30 more before I'm finished, 'cause I still have the hair, clothes and parts of the face to do. *sigh*

Tools: mechanical pencil .5mm and 4B pencil on sketchbook paper. oh, and a blending stump.

Wow! One of the best drawings I've ever seen! It even looks great in its unfinished state...kinda da Vinci-esque...

I like it that way. Sometimes it give it more value when it's unfinished. Makes it more mysterious...which is pretty much home for HP. :D.

Osnap.

We're doing this same method of drawing people in my art class. :D But we're doing self portraits, and I must say, after seeing your work I'm really inspired. ^^
